The Team Behind the Work

The start of this week is on a Tuesday because of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. I had a great weekend, and I feel refreshed and ready to take on the week.

I have an amazing team of talented and hardworking designers, and I want to highlight them today. Sydney Nelson is a beast when it comes to executing designs. She has an incredible understanding of the BYUI brand and doesn’t mess around. She was originally the team lead, but other commitments have limited her to being in the office only twice a week. With the amount of work she produces, though, you would think she was a full time employee.

My other teammate is Kennadee Irving. She is so creative and imaginative. She works hard and takes her time to make sure quality is never sacrificed and clients are always happy. If I were to start my own agency, I would hire them in a heartbeat.

While they are both great designers and incredibly hardworking, I would usually love to toot my own horn. This job has definitely helped my ego more than I’d like to admit, but most of my posts are about my own growth, and I wanted to take a moment to shine a light on the amazing people I work with.

I also worked more on the secret project. Hopefully phase one will be finished this week so I can talk more about it soon. I spent some time gathering quotes and photos for a scholarship page that will be shared with donors and the president’s executive club.
