I have officially started my internship! This blog is a way for me to document and see my growth. I am a graphic designer on the creative services team at Brigham Young University - Idaho. My focus is on branding and a general mix of low to high-priority tasks. From a quick template to department branding guidelines, it’s my job to ensure everything is properly branded and well designed. Thankfully, I’m not alone as I’m working with a team of other talented designers. This is an introduction to what I’ll be primarily focusing on, but don’t be surprised if you see a variety of things.

My goals for this internship:

-Understand and research design for clients and not myself

-Learn how to take critical feedback from art directors and other designers

-Develop time management skills while maintaining high design standards. 

-Understand different work and collaboration styles
